In a Book Review, the writer briefly states the  plot, genre, character, setting and also gives his personal opinion about the book.

    A book review, , is an in-depth analysis of the text; an examination of its contents. Its purpose is not to re-tell the story, but to evaluate the book and recommend the book to the reader, or not. 

A book review gives the opinions of the writer which includes his personal opinion. A review will  also include an analysis of the author’s intent, thematic elements, and symbolism.

USEFUL TIPS- E-Mail When you are writing an informal letter or sending an email to a friend,  ·        It is very important  to try and make it sound friendly and chatty. ·         Add a few bits of personal chat, usually at the start of the letter, to make it seem genuine. ·         Make sure main part of letter relates to task and that you use appropriate tone. ·         Don’t be bright and cheerful if writing to pass on bad news. ·         Do not use ‘text’ speech eg ” Hey Bobby! how r u?” or “I got a present 4 u” ·         Do not use slang e.g. ‘gonna’ or ‘cos’ ·         Use contracted verb forms like we’ve, I’m, etc. ·         Use short sentences. ·         Use idioms effectively..

A Memorable Wedding

The date of the wedding was at hand. Everyone started the preparations for the most exquisite wedding in the country. The wedding reception was held on 22^nd December 2012 in Salsa Royal.

The decoration of the hall was intricately creative with exotic bouquets and magnificently colourful lights. A wave of draped clothes added to the beauty of the reception. The gorgeously looking couple stood near the entrance shaking hands with all the guests gracefully.

 The groom wore a ravishingly beautiful silky black suit with a velvet jacket which perfectly matched with the bride’s stunning soft peachy gown. They both looked like two peas in a pod. The best part about every wedding is the food. A wedding is incomplete without the tasty dishes and delicacies. The tables looked vibrant with varieties of cuisine, whether it was Italian pasta or Turkish delight.

A pleasant reception, mouth-watering food and an astonishingly great looking happy couple made it the best nuptial ever. (159 words)

Uniform Code At School

Nowadays, children think that uniforms are boring and too old fashioned. Even I think that wearing uniforms are tedious, but in my opinion, it is very important to wear uniforms to school, for several reasons.

First and foremost, wearing uniforms to school is important because, it helps our parents, and people to recognise us as students of a particular school. When we wear our uniforms, we represent our school. Therefore, we should have good discipline while we have our uniforms on, to make our school and ourselves proud.

Moreover, wearing uniforms at school symbolises equality among students. Like this, both poor and rich students would be wearing uniforms that are alike. This creates a sense of unity and equality throughout the whole school. Unlike this, in schools that do not have a proper uniform code, discrimination and inequality are prevalent.

To conclude, I would say that, wearing uniforms to school is wise and I am convinced that having a proper uniform code can teach us discipline and moral values that will prove beneficial for our future. (176 words)

2.  Title

Don’t forget to write a title or heading and make sure that the title is appropriate to your topic. the title should be catchy and give an general idea of your article.

3. Introduction

                  Try to start with an effective introduction with question which attract the attention of reader or encourage him/her. Because the introduction of article gives a general idea what the article is talking about. this also gives and impression about your article. So beware! 

4.  Body with Transition

After the introduction you can start your body part with an appropriate transition which help to link the sentences and keep the continuation.

5.  Conclusion

Conclusion should be fairly short and use some personal style and register. The purpose of the conclusion should be, To summaries the article, To express your own opinion leave the reader with something to think.
